Darren McWarren’s introduction to the film and television industry happened at an early age. His parents were on-set caterers and the young Darren would often get small walk-on roles whenever a scene required a kid.  Even in those early days, his sexuality was at the forefront as the young Darren often requested to perform without a shirt. His big break came when he was 15 in the sit-com And Another Thing, where he combined comedy with pathos to win a Best Newcomer Logie. Onlookers said he used that same comedy and pathos to seduce Mary Hunt – the show’s 35-year-old dialogue coach. Despite their 20-year age difference, the two were inseparable and soon moved to Paris to get away from the prying eyes of the Australia media. more
